The SIÓ Miss Balaton is a Hungarian beauty contest organised on a yearly basis and by now is recognized nation-wide. Most beauty queens of this contest end up winning beauty contests of even higher standard (e.g. Miss Earth Hungary, Miss World Hungary). The final and the gala take place in Keszthely every year.
