Balaton crossings

Balaton crossings (between the South shore and the North shore) are served by ferry boats but there are also other boat services between the different ports of Lake Balaton.  Regular ferry services operate between Tihany and Szántód and excursion boats cruise between several ports. Cars, motorcycles and other small vehicles (e.g. bicycles) may be transported on the ferry. Excursion boats accept the booking of bicycles depending on the actual traffic.
